Jan 24, 10:30 a.m.: SF Defend Right to Abortion Rally

by =
10,000 anti-abortion and anti-gay marriage terrorists will visit San Francisco for the 5th, and hopefully the last, time, on January 24 at 10:30 a.m., Market and Embarcadero, the day we commemorate the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, which guaranteed women in the US a right to a safe and legal abortion. We need hundreds of thousands of pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage people to put this Catholic Church sponsored event back on their buses, peacefully, and send them home for good.

The passage of Prop 8, temporarily overturning gay marriage in California, should be a wake up call to everyone who has not attended the previous 4 anti-women hate marches of the Catholic Church in San Francisco. The Catholic Church is a cover for a huge fascist movement, using abortion and gay marriage as smokescreens. They now have 7 million supporters (52%) who voted for Proposition 8, overturning gay marriage, while the pro-gay marriage forces had 6.4 million voters. See
http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/sov/2008_general/7_votes_for_against.pdf
A total of 13.7 million people voted in a state with 27 million adults. See
http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/sov/2008_general/3_voter_part_stats_by_county.pdf
THIS MEANS A LOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE, THE MOST LIKELY SUPPORTERS OF GAY MARRIAGE, DID NOT VOTE. You can make amends on January 24; you can help us defend the right, especially your right if you are ages 10-52 and female, to abortion, and if you are male, defend the women in your lives and your communities. In fact, anything that affects women, the 52% majority of the population, affects the whole society, SO EVERYBODY MUST SHOW UP FOR THIS EVENT.

THE RIGHT TO ABORTION IS ALREADY CRIMINALIZED FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY: The anti-abortion majority, Roberts, Alito, Kennedy, Scalia and Thomas, defeated the pro-abortion minority, Breyer, Ginsburg, Souter and Stevens, and criminalized late term abortions, making it possible to jail doctors and women who authorize or have abortions in the last 3 months of pregnancy. The Democratically-controlled Congress with its new Democratic president, could pass a law overturning this Supreme Court decision, but there are so many anti-abortion Democrats, including Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, that is not likely to happen. JUST AS WE CANNOT RELY ON THE DEMOCRATS TO CUT OFF US AID TO ISRAEL (THEY ALWAYS VOTE TO SUPPORT IT), WE CANNOT RELY ON THE DEMOCRATS TO DEFEND WOMEN'S RIGHT TO FREE (PAID FOR WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS, AS ALL MEDICAL CARE SHOULD BE) ABORTION ON DEMAND, WITH NO RESTRICTIONS.

Remember, it was Nixon appointee, Justice Blackmun, who wrote the majority opinion in Roe v. Wade, while Kennedy appointee, Justice White, dissented. Republican Pres Nixon was viewed as another Hitler, correctly, yet because of a mass movement, we won this major victory. See

PLEASE BE THERE, JANUARY 24, 10:30 a.m., MARKET AND THE EMBARCADERO, SAN FRANCISCO.
