99% of House joins 100% of Senate in Supporting Israel with HRes34
On January 9, 2009, one day after the fascist US Senate voted 100% to support US/Israel terrorism in Gaza with Senate Resolution 10, the House of Representatives, with House Resolution 34, voted 99% to support the same genocide with only 5 No votes. Democrat Barbara Lee did NOT vote No; she played around in the “Present” pool, inexcusable in the face of genocide perpetrated with $15 million a day from the American taxpayers.

The text of the resolution was written by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, AIPAC, a Zionist lobbying gang of filthy rich swine who claim to believe in the Jewish superstitution, and are just as much capitalist thugs as the Christian capitalists. House Resolution 34, with the same text as SRes10, may be found at
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.RES.34:
THE SPONSORS ARE ALL WELL KNOWN "LIBERAL" DEMOCRATS AND THEIR REPUBLICAN FRIENDS, WHO CAN NOW SAFELY BE CALLED NAZIS, as the atrocities in the illegal attack on Gaza by US/Israel would certainly make Hitler proud. It was originally sponsored by House Speaker, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, and her co-sponsors, Democrats and Republicans together were:
Rep Ackerman, Gary L. [NY-5] - 1/8/2009
Rep Berman, Howard L. [CA-28] - 1/8/2009
Rep Boehner, John A. [OH-8] - 1/8/2009
Rep Burton, Dan [IN-5] - 1/8/2009
Rep Cantor, Eric [VA-7] - 1/8/2009
Rep Clyburn, James E. [SC-6] - 1/8/2009
Rep Hoyer, Steny H. [MD-5] - 1/8/2009
Rep Larson, John B. [CT-1] - 1/8/2009
Rep McCarthy, Kevin [CA-22] - 1/8/2009
Rep Pence, Mike [IN-6] - 1/8/2009
Rep Ros-Lehtinen, Ileana [FL-18] - 1/8/2009
Unlike the Senate voice vote, there was a Roll Call for this support of fascist genocide, Roll Call 10, found at:
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll010.xml
The Yes vote was 222 Democrats and 168 Republicans; the No vote was 4 Democrats and 1 Republican; the Present vote was 22 Democrats and Not Voting were 8 Democrats and 8 Republicans.
IT IS AN INSULT TO VOTE PRESENT OR NOT VOTE AT ALL IN THE FACE OF GENOCIDE, ALL PERPETRATED WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS, AND THIS OUTRAGE HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 61 YEARS, PERPETRATED 100% BY DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS AT ALL LEVELS OF OFFICE which is why you have to vote socialist or Green if you want peace in the Middle East.

Barbara Lee's refusal to publicly oppose the open support of Israel's criminal genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza is indefensible. Obviously her new position as leader of the Black Congressional Caucus and concern about not offending the Zionists take priority over opposing genocide. The US funded military operation of Israel is showing the true colors of these Democrats like Lee who when push comes to shove capitulate to the Zionist lobby and are silent on the crimes against the Palestinian people.
So much for her lauded "principles". This is complicity by silence!

The fact that there were some No votes among the Democrat-Republicans does not change the fact that their parties are outright fascist parties supporting genocide. The one Republican voting No, Ron Paul, is viciously reactionary and his opposition to this resolution has absolutely nothing to do with supporting any Palestinian liberation struggle. Not Voting should be grounds for dismissal as we taxpayers pay these people to vote. After all, they do not hesitate to give Israel $15 million a day to slaughter human beings and steal their land, and have been giving this enormous sum of money to Israel for 61 years to do the same and then they turn around and tell us there is no money for a national healthcare plan which they have, namely socialized medicine courtesy the taxpayers.

That's the result you get when you have "representatives" and in the voter population you have .........
1) Some voters who will decide for or against this represetaive based upon this one issue (regardless of positions on other issues)
2) Few or none on the other side in that same sense. Please note that I am NOT saying few or none who wouldn't prefer a different position on THIS issue, just that their decision for or against the candidate will ultimately be based upon positions with regard to other issues.
There are many places in this country where the difference is small (only a few votes gained by taking the pro-Israel position) but unfortunately for those of us who would like to see Congress voting diferently, there are damned few places where there are any votes to be gained taking the anti position.
It's more than a little strange to see these calls for our representatives to "do the right thing". I don't know about you, but when I vote for my Congressperson I make that decision based upon whether that person if elected would tend to vote for the things that I want. What I want, not what for what you might want or to "do the right thing based on their own preferences". On the other hand, my vote for Senator might be influenced by my feelings about that candidate's "judgement" (with a much longer term in office, I can't be so sure what issues they will end up deciding).

When you vote, you must have some litmus tests. FIRST AND FOREMOST MUST BE WHETHER OR NOT THEY SUPPORT GENOCIDE. Since both the Democrats and Republicans support genocide, there is no point in voting for any of them. You have to vote socialist (Peace & Freedom) or Green if you want the end of genocide. SECOND: HOW DO THESE PARASITES SPEND OUR TAX DOLLARS? Since both the Democrats and Republicans vote 100% to spend $15 MILLION A DAY to have Israel slaughter Palestinians and steal Palestinian land, we certainly cannot be voting for Democrats and Republicans. We have urgent social needs right here at home to which the $15 million A DAY would be put to good use.
THEN WE GET TO ABORTION AND GAY MARRIAGE. We have anti-abortion Democratic Senator Harry Reid leading the Democrats in the Senate wih their 100% pro-genocide vote. We have lots of other anti-abortion Democrats in the House and Senate. We have Democrats like Hilary Clinton welcoming the anti-abortion crowd to the Democratic Party who are not already there. We have an entire US Senate, including Democrats, who confirmed the anti-abortion majority on the Supreme Court, Roberts, Alito, Kennedy, Scalia and Thomas WHO MADE LATE TERM ABORTIONS ILLEGAL AND CRIMINALIZED DOCTORS WHO WOULD WANT TO PERFORM THEM.
THEN THERE IS GAY MARRIAGE. We have Democratic Pres Clinton who gladly signed the anti-gay marriage Defense of Marriage Act. We have Pres elect Barack Obama who is against gay marriage but claims to be against Cal's Prop 8, repealing gay marriage.
YOU BETTER WAKE UP; THE REST OF THE WORLD HAS. The sooner you stop voting for Democrats and Republicans and instead vote socialist or Green, the sooner we will have peace, prosperity, abortion and gay marriage, and much more.

Voice Vote or Roll-Call, the result would be dis-representation. I assure you, all serious minded and courageous activist would prepare themselves to be as effective as possible to win the hearts and minds of everyone they can hold a conversation with, to vote against war of aggression and order US troops to stop the war immediately.
It is long past time to stop giving our proxy to politicians and being fragmented into states and districts where we allegedly have just 2% of senate and less than one-forth of 1% in the house, accountable to us.
The Bill of Rights' 9th Amendment provides us with 'reserved rights that can not be denied nor disparaged' and I am stating that we have the Right to made Public Law and Public Policy by Direct Popular Vote, when and how we demand.
The federal government is 'Null and Void' for gross violations of the US Constitution in suborning High Treason, War Crimes, and Genocide.
I want to move to Berkeley and initiate the process, welcome e-mails, and ready to mount up and fight shoulder to shoulder against the imperial plutocracy with your collective will manifested and proclaimed the Law of the Land, nothing to the contrary withstanding.
I have no president, senator, representative, governor, mayor, councilperson and need none. That concentration of power in the hands of the few is the root of the problem, and as radicals, out duty is to uproot it, and sow the seeds of Pure Democracy, not by lobbying as sublicants, but doing it as bold and righteous free-thinking and fearless women and men.

'When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.' Thomas Jefferson
REVOLUTION is the Solution!!!
'God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.... And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.... The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.' - Thomas Jefferson, in letter to William S. Smith, 1787
