The minimum litmus test for any supposedly pro-Palestinian human rights activist must be:
Do you publicly declare yourself to be an anti-Zionist?
Do you speak out against and condemn political Zionism?
Do you believe that political Zionism is a form of racism?
Otherwise, they're a Zionist.

What's up with you? Stephen Zunes was one of the few people singled out in Santa Cruz for David Horowitz' 'Discover the Networks' list (see http://santacruz.indymedia.org/newswire/display/17903/index.php )
For some reason, JAnderson doesn't appear to be on the list as well. Anyhow, you sound a bit crazy accusing a scholar who speaks and publishes opinion editorials on these issues of being a zionist. Maybe the word 'zionist' isn't being used correctly, and thus loses meaning at that point? Also, what's the point of diverting the conversation here into pointless agitation. What do you want to happen? Do you think jewish people shouldn't be able to live in west asia in multiethnic states?
By the way, there are other conflicts going on in the world.

I noticed that these critics didn't remark on the interview or the article that Stephen had on alternet.
It would be more interesting to read their comments if they were an articulate response to what Stephen had to say, rather than just a venomous attack on him.
