Demonstrations Against the Genocidal Bombing of Gaza Continue in SF and Around the World
In the fourth mass demonstration this week in support of the Palestinian people over 1000 people rallied and then marched to the Israeli Consulate. The protest was organized by the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, MAS Freedom, the Free Palestine Alliance, the National Council of Arab Americans, Al-Awda the Palestine Right of Return Coalition and other groups.
As the Palestinian people remain strong and defiant in the face of a brutal and continual bombardment targeting schools, hospitals, prisons, power facilities and virtually any home, the protests against the U.S. sponsored Israeli attacks remain large and militant. The protests have included people from many different sectors of society but in particular they have been led by Palestinian youth.
