Brown Beret public meeting 6pm
WORKSHOP 8pm: Participants will investigate ways they can experiment with writing, performance, and inspire social change through art and intuitive expression. Writing prompts will be used to free the power of voice and promote academic literacy. Participants will also be encouraged to examine both spoken and written word in articulating their own identities, hopes, and dreams. The ultimate objective is to explore language through body and word to stimulate discussion within the global perspective of arts culture and future aesthetics.
PERFORMANCE and OPEN MIC 9pm: Fascious will perform an array of poems, urban monologues and Hip Hop songs from his play entitled “Penumbra.” Performance will end on a Hip Hop cypher.
