International Day of Solidarity for Greece December 20th
Greece is calling for a International Day of Solidarity in response to recent uprisings after a police killing of teenager Alexandros Grigoropoulos.
This Saturday Dec. 20 is the International Day of Action in Solidarity with the uprising in Greece. Solidarity demonstrations have happened all over the world, from embassy occupations, to burning cop cars, to candle light vigils, to banners and signs with words of what's to come.
On Saturday Dec 20th North America and beyond to plan demonstrations and direct actions in their local cities and towns, at police stations, prisons and jails, courthouses, Greek consulates and specific corporations contributing to the repression of our communities, of the Greek uprising and of peoples movements worldwide.
