Gertrude Stein, among the most influential cultural innovators of the twentieth century, also had a powerful effect on Jewish women from the Bay Area. Author, professor and Lehrhaus Judaica Founder Fred Rosenbaum will discuss this important influence in a talk, “Rooted Cosmopolitans: Gertrude Stein and Her Circle of San Francisco Jewish Women in Turn-of-the-Century Paris.”
