St. Mary's Conference Center, 1111 Gough St @ Geary Blvd (SW corner) in SF. 150 free onsite parking spots. MUNI Geary Blvd bus #38, Van Ness bus #47/#49, Sutter St. #20/#3 stops within 2 blocks. Public parking at Japantown (4 blocks) and on Franklin between Post and Sutter (3 blocks). Limited on street parking.
The public is invited to comment on new construction proposals detailed in a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS) -- including a large art museum sponsored by Gap founder Don Fisher, 100-room hotel/restaurant, movie multiplex-- under consideration for the Presidio of San Francisco, a national historical and recreational park (part of GGRNA) at this meeting, held by the Presidio Trust. The Trust, a federal agency which manages the Presidio's real estate, has come under strong criticism for supporting these and other proposed developments on the Presidio's historic Main Post, a designated National Historic Landmark District dating back to 1776. Comments should relate to the DSEIS posted on http://www.presidio.gov // Sign in early to make your comments at this meeting.
