ICE Protest on Friday, October 31
Hundreds of young people - mostly from migrant communities - organized this protest in response to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids that swept through Bay Area cities last week. Youth and supporters locked to each other and metal barrels, barricading the driveway and two entrances of the ICE building in downtown San Francisco. They demand an end to the ICE raids and an enforcement of San Francisco and Oakland's sanctuary city laws, which are supposed to prohibit police to collaborate with ICE agents.
