The Electoral College and Barack Obama's win by over 100 Electoral Votes.

by Francisco Da Costa
If anyone believes that the Electoral College does not play an important role in the decision making and finally in the election of the President of the United States of America - you must be living on another - planet. We are a few days away - and we will have the First Black President in the White House. His name - Barack Obama
Right now the Electoral College is poised to cast their vote - and from all sane indications - by a margin of over 100 Electoral Votes - the College favors - Barack Obama.

So, as it stands - against the greatest odds - we, now are poised to make history and accept our First Black President of the United States of America.

In recent weeks - more so after the Economic Crisis - fair minded Americans cannot accept - anything that led to the Economic Crisis. Anything linked to the Crisis - and the common denominator is George W. Bush and his failed policy makers.

Never, in the history of recent standing Presidents - do we have a sitting President of the United States with such a low rating.

George W. Bush should be ashamed of himself - he has brought disgrace to the Nation and in doing so failed each and every - American.

All over the world - most folks cannot understand how this Nation - permitted some one as shallow as George W. Bush to ruin not only America but the world at large.

As far as I am concerned the bad decisions of George W. Bush has divided our country - and most people who want good to happen to our Nation - want George W. Bush to go - away.

We need change and most of us can see that change cannot come with the Republicans - so, de facto - those from the Republican Party - opposing and running against Barack Obama - have no chance - this time around.

Some say race is a factor. Well, race is not a factor. The youth and those with open minds will vote for the best. There is one leader in the race that meet this standard - Barack Obama.

Those racists that ruined American before - hated the Native Americans - hated the African Americans - now, they can decided to hate themselves and join the ranks of the pathetic losers.

Some nay sayers - invoke the Bradley Affect - this is not a race - run in one State like California - this is the whole Nation. Too many factors that favor a sound, young, intelligent, brave - leader who happens to be Black. His name is Barack Obama.

Here is a challenge to the racists - go ahead and vote your conscience. Then, forever hold your - peace.

The majority of the votes from the leading parties and others - will favor the best and his name is Barack Obama.

November 4, 2008 - history will be made and it will be decided by the Electoral College:
