Doug Orr, author and professor of economics at San Francisco City College, will deliver a talk "Where did the financial crisis come from and where is it going?" 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, Curtis Hall, Sierra 2 Center, 2791 24th St., Sacramento. Orr will argue why the current crisis points to the relevancy of Karl Marx’s critique of the capitalist economy.
