Van Jones is the founder and president of Green For All, a national advocacy organization based in Oakland, California that is committed to building an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift millions of people out of poverty through green collar jobs and green development. His tireless advocacy for suffering urban constituencies has earned him numerous honors. These include the 1998 Reebok International Human Rights Award, the International Ashoka Fellowship, selection as a World Economic Forum "Young Global leader", George Lucas Foundation's "Daring Dozen 2008" and many others. Van is also the co-founder of both the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights and Color of Change.
Aya de Leon, the East Bay Express Readers' Pick for Best Slam Poet, 2008, is a brilliant performance artist and writer.
