This Wednesday Pascal Lamy, Director-General of the World Trade
Organization (WTO) will be at the UC-Berkeley Campus. Come tell the WTO to
wise up - It's time for Fair Trade, not more Free Trade!
From the global food crisis to the financial crisis, we know that free
trade and deregulation don't work. The WTO's policies have increased
global poverty and environmental destruction. Yet, the WTO continues to
push for more of the same. Lamy will be speaking at the UC-Berkeley law
school to make the case for more free trade as usual. Join us to tell him:
Free Trade has Failed!
When: Wednesday, October 29, 3:15 (Lamy will be speaking from 4-6pm)
Where: Boalt Hall, corner of Piedmont and Bancroft Ave, UC Berkeley campus.
If you have one, please wear your Cal t-shirt.
