Attention to all,
Today, October 22, 17 homes were raided by ICE and the DHS in San Francisco. There was 10 raids in the Tenderloin, 6 in Bayview and 1 in the Mission district. The number of people detained is yet unknown. This seems to be large scale operation by ICE.
We cannot let this harassment and persecution of undocumented workers happen with out a response. We are calling for an EMERGENCY PROTEST at the ICE offices tomorrow. Let's show ICE that we will not let this happen in a Sanctuary City.

Mainstream news sources are reporting that the raids targeted more than a dozen locations in San Francisco, South San Francisco, and Richmond. They confirm that police in South San Francisco and Richmond assisted with the raids. ICE and the US Attorney are claiming that the raids are connected to an investigation of the MS-13 street gang.
The raids are described as having been violent, including the use of explosives and attacks resulting in injuries requiring hospitalization. In at least one case, parents were taken away from their children, who were left in the care of a 19-year old sibling.
