he United States economy is crumbling around us. People are shaking
their heads in bewilderment and are looking for new systems. Well, it
turns out there are alternatives! There are even fun alternatives!
However, as of right now, the revolution may be fun, but it also has
to be funded. Red Emma's invites you to our
First-Ever ART AUCTION! From toy dinosaurs made out of rubberbands to
splendiferous creations by some of Baltimore's finest independent
artists, we guarantee there will be something for everyone! And
besides the thrill of bidding (both silent & live!), you can bask in
warm fuzzy feeling you get from knowing that your bids will help keep
your favorite, friendly, local, and radical bookstore coffeehouse open
for another year (and hopefully many more to come). We would love help
from the community to make this event a smashing success! If you are
artistic or crafty, why not donate a piece? Whether or not you are
artistically-inclined, why not come out and check out the show?!?! The
price ranges will allow everyone to take something home! Come out!

Announcing the first-ever Red Emma's Art Auction
This November 13, at 7:00 PM, help keep the revolution caffeinated by making sure
that your favorite friendly, local, radical bookstore coffeeshop
survives another year! From toy dinosaurs made out of rubberbands to
breathtaking photographic panoramas and more, don't miss the chance
to acquire your own little piece of Baltimore's burgeoning independent
art scene and support Red Emma's in the process! Bid a buck or a
hundred bucks - we guarantee you'll find something you love ...
We need your help to make this event a smashing success. Tell your
friends and family to come out and participate in the silent and live
auctions! Listen to free music from some of Baltimore's finest, and
peruse the contributions. Feeling crafty or artistic? Donate a
piece to the auction - we can provide receipts for tax-deductible
contributions if you need them. Everything is welcome!
If you have a work to contribute, email: pr [at] redemmas.org with the
details and we'll arrange a pickup/dropoff. Or use our handy
