What a horror that someone so reactionary as Barack Obama is applauded on this website. The Democrats and Republicans are the twin parties of war and fascism. The only reason the Democrats exist is to make sure we never vote Red or Green, the only 2 options possible for peace and justice. This is the old good cop/bad cop routine. Once elected, the Democrats carry out the same program as the Republicans do because they are paid for by the same capitalist class and corporations as the Republicans. Barack Obama proudly led the charge, along with Democrat Nancy Pelosi, in giving $700 billion of our tax dollars to the banks and insurance companies so we have no healthcare. His healthcare program is to promote the insurance companies. He supports US imperailism in Iraq, Afghanistan and everywhere else, and proudly supports JROTC, the military program in the schools. He supports the heinous spy program, FISA, opposes gay marriage while claiming to oppose Prop 8, does not oppose the Supreme Court's criminalizing of late term abortions and SUPPORTS THE DEATH PENALTY, to the point of criticizing this otherwise reactionary Supreme Court for banning the death penalty for child rapists. Obama is also a proud suppoter of National Service, better known as THE DRAFT. Cynthia McKinney, the Green Party candidate for president, and Ralph Nader, the Peace & Freedom Party candidate for president, are staunchly anti-war, anti-imperialist, anti-death penalty, anti-FISA, anti-JROTC.
