While Georgia has made great economic strides, recent tensions between Moscow and Tbilisi erupting into armed conflict and the political and electoral repercussions of the Russian incursion into South Ossetia has only raised more questions about the future course of Georgian democracy. To discuss democratic developments and how the conflict with Russia is shaping politics and civil society in Georgia, the Council welcomes Mr. William Horton Beebe-Center, President of Eurasia Foundation, and Ms. Ekaterine Siradze-Delaunay, the Executive Director of a leading Georgian NGO.
