On October 5, 2008 World Teachers Day, labor supporters will join Cindy Sheehan who is running for Congress against Nancy Pelosi. The meeting will take place at 2:00 PM at ILWU Local 34 which is located at 2nd St/Embarcadero next to AT&T Ball Park. Sheehan is opposed the tax payer bailout to the banks of $700 billion and is for the war to end and funding to go to education and healthcare.
