After one year plus, a statewide strike, numerous meetings with various chancellors and regents, not a single just or respectable offer has been provided to workers of AFSCME Local 3299. A statewide call to action will take place to continue this historic struggle against the unjust treatment and outright shameful tactics of the UC. Together we are stronger, join us in solidarity to voice your dissent and participate through active utilization of all of our intrinsic rights to be treated and seen as equals. Hasta la victoria, SIEMPRE! Paz.

§Union Rally
by This Wednesday
UPTE, CUE, AFT Librarians, and AFSCME Skilled Trades are now entering the same battle to win a fair contract as we have been fighting for over a year. It is time to join forces and demand justice for ALL workers in the UC system. We remember that our neutral state-appointed Fact-Finder confirmed that UC has plenty of money available to grant
fair wage increases to its workers IF it decides to make that a priority. Let's help them straighten their priorities and give us a fair contract NOW! Please join us this Wednesday, October 1st:

Justice Now! Rally
Wednesday, October 1st
3 – 5 pm Baytree Bookstore

UC service, professional, technical, clerical, skilled craft, and library workers are united and committed to winning equal pay for equal work, protection for our benefits, and an end to poverty wages. UC executives are failing our community by prioritizing executive compensation over the people who make UC run.

Let's show UC executives that we are more determined than ever to win this fight!
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
