San Francisco Open the “Debates” Activities

Dear Nader/Gonzalez Supporter,

The “Debates” begin this coming Friday; Thursday has been declared a national day of action to call attention to how the Nader/Gonzalez campaign is being stonewalled from the debates.

http://www.votenader.org/blog/2008/09/22/call-barack-obama-e-mail-janet-brown-now/

Thursday we in San Francisco will be doing various things to call attention to this. We urge you to participate in whatever way you can, and bring your friends and associates along especially those supporting any of the 3rd party candidates.

http://www.votenader.org/debates/ There are downloadable flyers and contact information for media, commission on presidential debates and the candidates themselves.

We will hold an organizing meeting Tuesday, September 23, 7-9pm at El Cafetazo on 16th St between Mission and Valencia. @ 3067 16th St.; it is close to the BART and 22, 14, 26, 49 bus lines

We need to develop a plan for Thursday’s day of action, something during and after the debates on Friday, and prepare for 9/30 which will be a full day with a press conference at the Federal Reserve, luncheon fundraiser, rally at SFSU, Commonwealth Club appearance and finishing with a rally at the Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland.
