Alzheimer's Association LGBT Caregiver Support Group at New Leaf Services

This *free* support group offers participants the chance to express their
feelings and learn coping techniques from one another. By attending,
family members, caregivers, and friends:

* Know they are not alone

* Know that relevant help is available, accessible and nearby

* Can gather to share practical information

* Can problem-solve and support each other

* Learn new ways of coping with dementia

* Share ideas and experiences of being a long-distance caregiver

* Deal with the present and prepare for the future


This group is hosted and sponsored by New Leaf Outreach to Elders and is free. Co-sponsored by openhouse and The Alzheimer's Association.
