HURRICANE RESPONSE: CAPITALISM VS. SOCIALISM
In recent weeks, two destructive hurricanes, Gustav and Ike, have devastated several countries in the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. Cuba, which bore the full impact of both hurricanes, has set itself apart from capitalist countries in how it prepares for and responds to natural disasters. Hear a report about the destruction caused by the hurricanes, and learn how a socialist system, which is organized around people's needs instead of profit, is able to respond to a crisis and minimize people's suffering in a way that capitalism can't.

EYEWITNESS RNC: VIOLENT POLICE REPRESSION
Join us for a special report by a PSL member who participated in the demonstrations at the RNC. Hear about the protests and the extent of police violence used to keep the demonstrators from ruining the political show of the ruling class. The report will include a discussion of the role of the two major political parties in managing the affairs of the capitalist class.
