UCSC Science Hill Tree Sit: From the UCSC main entrance, take a free shuttle to the Science Hill/Engineering bus stop. The sit is just across the street, next to the Physical Science Building.

Come to the Tree Sit and show your opposition to UCSC's plan to destroy 120 acres of forest. We will share food, music and stories. Feel free to bring non-perishables and sealed water for the people in the trees. Costumes are optional.

A special invite goes out to alumni and community members who remember a different UCSC. Remember Elfland? Remember the predatory bird sanctuary? What other places were important to you? Please come share your stories of what UCSC used to be like and special places that you remember in undeveloped parts of campus.

After the gathering, we will take a walk around campus to share magical places with each other. Hope you can make it!
