Join REI and SPAWNERS (San Pablo Watershed Neighbors Education & Restoration Society) for a community service project to re-vegetate the banks of San Pablo Creek on the grounds of the public library in El Sobrante. During this workday we will plant over 500 plants along the creek banks. No prior experience is necessary. SPAWNERS will provide all tools and supervision. All ages are welcome; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. REI will provide free swag for volunteers and everyone participating will have the chance to enter to win an REI raffle prize. Also, take the chance to purchase native plants at discounted prices from SPAWNERS.
