Anger & Other 'Big' Emotions - 6 wk series in Nonviolent Communication
Anger, guilt, fear, shame, grief, and depression can be so overwhelming and scary, we often prefer to do anything but experience them. And yet, it takes substantial energy to suppress these emotions. When we deny them, we can become the opposing force that holds the emotion in place. This six week series will help you discover the patterns, thoughts, and habits we form in relation to these emotions and practical skills to work with them. Practicing the translation of these thoughts into feelings, needs and requests, contributes to the transformation of our primary relationship to self. Uncover habitual thoughts that have kept you from fully connecting with yourself in challenging situations. This journey of self-discovery will be supported by gratitude and forgiveness and mourning.
6 week series - Wednesdays, September 3 - October 8, 7-9pm Online registration available.
