Power of People Breaks Gaza Siege
GAZA CITY — Some 44 activists from 17 world countries are demonstrating once again the power of people in making a difference when governments and politicians fail to rise to the challenge.
"This is a dream come true for those of us who have been working for it for so long," Paul Lerudee, a co-founder of the California-based Free Gaza movement, which organized the voyage, told Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Sunday, August 24.

The activists sailed aboard two boats into Gaza waters on Saturday, August 23, to break the Israeli siege imposed on its 1.6 million population.
