PELOSI’S COMING TO SAN RAFAEL!
Let’s not miss this chance
to let her know what we think!
TUESDAY, AUGUST 12, 6 PM DEMONSTRATE AGAINST WAR AND REPRESSION: SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE NANCY PELOSI AT DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi will speak on Tuesday, August 12 at Dominican University's Angelico Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. lecture. To attend, tickets are $35 per person (general admission seating) which includes a copy of her new book, Know Your Power: A Message to America’s Daughters.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has led the Democrats in Congress in the appropriation of billions for the illegal and genocidal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. She has guided the Democratic Party in its collaboration in the ongoing destruction of the Bill of Rights, in her support for telecommunications immunity law, and other laws eroding the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, to habeas corpus and to a fair trial. And she has staunchly defended Congress' refusal to follow the Constitution's mandate that the president and vice-president be impeached for their crimes.
Gather at 6 PM outside Angelico Hall, corner of Grand and Acacia. Bring signs and noisemakers to express your objection to the wars in the Middle East and the destruction of civil rights at home. (No charge to attend demonstration.)
WHAT: Demonstrate against Nancy “Not-On-the
Table” Pelosi
WHEN: Tuesday, August 12 (gather at 6 P.M.)
WHERE: Dominican University, Angelico Hall,
corner of Grand and Acacia in San Rafael
WHAT TO BRING: Signs, banners, noise-makers,
and your INDIGNATION!
