LinuxWorld Conference & Expo is the premier event for the open source community, featuring innovators shaping the future of new technology. It the largest single gathering of people deploying open source solutions.

The Raging Grannies are outRAGED by the shenanigans that threw our country's leadership to the Republicans in the stolen elections of 2000 and 2004. Since then we have teamed up with Open Voting Consortium in lobbying against proprietary voting machines.

We will help demonstrate a new, easy to use (even for Grannies!) voting machine that uses open source software. Its workings are entirely transparent! (Unlike some of the electronic voting machines recently decertified by the state of California due to security problems)

Grannies will be in and out of the Open Voting Consortium exhibit but a photo op is scheduled for Noon on August 6 and we will be there most of that afternoon. We will also make an appearance from about 1:30 on Tuesday August 5th.
