We have all heard from Al Gore, Nelson Mandella, Desmond Tutu, Mahatma Gandhi, William Wilberforce, and others before, but this Sunday we will have an opportunity to listen to a wise American elder and active visionary, Ralph Nader.
When: Sunday Aug 3, 2008 at 7:30 PM
Where: The College of Marin – Olney Hall, 835 College Ave, Kentfield (Marin County)
This is a special opportunity to see this remarkable man in action devoid of guile, highly paid speechwriters, or makeup artists.
This is not about voting for Nader or not voting, rather it is all about awakening from the frozen trance of the two party corporate system and taking responsibility for the future in implementing a new vision. I invite you to at least listen with an open heart and judge for yourselves, especially important is to bring your children.
Ralph Nader will clearly address the steps necessary for a single payer health care system including what kind of health system, how to bust the oil cartel, ending the war in Iraq now, funding a functional nuclear free self reliant energy policy here at home, reversing US policy in the Middle East, implementing solar power now, cracking down on corporate crime and subsidies, a living wage for all, a carbon tax, delineate why nuclear power is a very costly and bad idea, and much more.
Olney Hall is Wheelchair Accessible. For more information, call (415) 897-6989
