The proposed budget would cut billions from the vital services that California's families rely on every day – slashing funding for public schools, public safety, health care services and in-home care for elderly.

If enacted, these cuts would jeopardize the safety and security of California's children, families, seniors, and the disabled. The cuts will impact most Californians in multiple ways, often compounding our problems in tough economic times.

We can do better. Tell our lawmakers to reject a "cuts-only" budget and find common-sense solutions to fixing California's budget deficit.
