Comrades and Allies,
There will be a Community Garden Building Party this Sunday July 20th. Our gardens feeds the community part is donated to The Critical Resistance Conference Sept 26th-28th 2008 at Laney College.
Critical Resistance is an organization that is fighting to end to prison industrial complex. To sign up your back or front yard as a community garden contact us. We organize work parties and fundraise to bio-remediate the soil.
Updates on Helen St. Community Garden:
We have sprayed the soil and have begun to till, our only issue is the glass and rocks we have found. This Sunday come help us remove the debris for a better garden.
We welcome you to come help bring some snacks and drinks if you can. We look forward to seeing you! For all of my mycelium gardening allies this is the same only we have decided to build gardens and remediate the soil in our neighborhoods providing two services, food security and bio-remediation. Somethings our communities can sink their teeth into.
