This comprehensive 3-day program provides educators with the tools to design, begin, and teach from a school garden. The course starts with designing a garden, selecting appropriate plants, and getting to know your soil type and water needs. You'll also learn composting, basic plant botany, propagation, and kid-friendly cooking from the garden. Practical activities and background information will give you what you need to jumpstart a garden at your school and enrich your students' learning experiences.
