A performance of the play, Ka Lei Maile Aliʻi - The Queenʻs Women, plus a full program of Hawaiian music by Kapalakiko Hawaiian Band and special guest, singer Regina Wells of Ojala.
The play is a re-enactment of a powerful protest against American annexation. It is performed by members of Ka Lei Maile Ali’i Hawaiian Civic Club from Honolulu. Activist David Keanu Sai will provide historical context of the Hawaiian resistance in a brief presentation before the play.
