pro-war come to berkeley part 1
I have speculated for a long time, what would be the justification for people still supporting the war or the American troops. Clearly, they most listen to the news or read newspapers? I have to speculate that it’s some kind of infant mentality where giving up on the idea would produce some kind a metal breakdown.
So today, the extreme right wing marched into Berkeley. Brainwashed bikers, misguided individuals, and outright xenophobic all have decided to come to Berkeley to support the American troops that are occupying Iraq and Afghanistan. Another important newsflash, the “I’m a man because I have leather jacket and motorcycle” cluster have decided to stop boycotting Berkeley, and shop at selective places, such as hardware stores and burger restaurants.
Now, one might ask, why would I want biker-thugs coming to Berkeley to shop here, running free around women, kids, minorities? What’s the significant of a group that based miles away, boycotting businesses in Berkeley? Well, you are already asking too much questions and using critical thinking, which for these people is unacceptable.
War based on lies- not true, never found WMD’s-not true, troops committing war crimes in the name of these lies-not true, America engage in wars for economic profits and world dominance-not true. How would one explain to these people that their boycott has no affect, or that we would really appreciate it, if they stayed away from Berkeley?
