Dozens of same sex couples marry in Fresno
It's a happy joyous day as thousands of same sex couples line up outside county clerks offices throughout the State to legally marry. In Fresno over one hundred couples lined up before the clerks office even opened at 8:30am. The first couple in line arrived before sunrise at 4:45 am. One woman when asked how she felt simply replied with tears in her eyes "I feel like a blushing bride. A feeling I never thought I'd have." Another couple, partners for 25 years, said "Things sure have changed. We're mountain folks from Auberry at our wedding reception tonight we'll be the only gay couple there."
By noon 57 couples had been married or had picked up Marriage licenses to be married later at private ceremonies.
