About Us

Intro
Arna - Active memorial site aims to continue the political perspective of a categorical rejection of the Oslo process, and the Apartheid reality which has been established in its wake in the '67 Occupied Territories and strengthened within Israel.
This perspective stems from a comprehensive stance which opposes the exclusive Jewish-Zionist nature of the state of Israel and the authoritarian regime which has emerged in the areas beneath the control of the Palestinian Authority. Both gain sustenance from the institutions of world globalization and the 'New World Order' which are enemies of the Palestinians (both in '48 & '67 Palestine) and Arab peoples, as well as the oppressed within Israeli society including Mizrahim and women.
Arna - Active memorial site is a project of radical and progressive Palestinians and Israelis, it is increasingly significant and urgent given the new era emerging in the wake of the Al Aqsa Intifada.
Purpose
Our purpose is bringing to light the suffering of humankind in the region.
Arna Mer-Khamis created a frame of work in Jenin by establishing a theatre, workshops and other public activities, our aim is to continue and develop this work together with the local citizens.
Activities
Currently we are completing a documentary movie that will be released this year.
