That one number separating these controversial propositions on the city’s June 3rd ballot also separates many citizens. Proposition 98 is portrayed as eminent domain reform by advocates and as a rent control ban and repeal by opponents. Proposition 99 reforms eminent domain laws while keeping rent control alive. Come discuss class struggle, affordable housing, and the future demographics of this city at next week’s SF Debate on Tuesday, May 27th.
