Van Jones is one of the most dynamic and influential young civil and human rights advocates in the nation today. As co-founder of the Ella Baker Center, Green for All, and ColorofChange.org Van is working to combine solutions to two of America's biggest problems: social inequality and environmental destruction. Please don't miss this opportunity to hear him speak about the spiritual inspiration that sustains him, provokes him, and strengthens him in doing this work.

The Howard Thurman Forum Series is named after Dr. Howard Thurman (1899-1981), civil rights leader and visionary theologian. The Forum offers public programs with globally respected spiritual thinkers who echo the values Dr. Thurman championed during his lifetime: building community, social justice, racial and religious reconciliation, and spiritual formation. Futurist-author John Renesch serves as host and interviewer for Forum guests. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.
