Mothers Still Say NO to War at the MRS

Mothers begin the day at the MRS building an alter for sacred objects symbolizing peace and end of war.

Then continuously throughout the day mothers bring to the station 1) tombstones, 10 commandments and human forms of gingerbread cookies, baby dolls, mannequins to be given to recruiters symbolizing human life damaged by war, demoralized, decapitated, stumps for appendages, holes where hearts used to be; 2) bring flowers, candles, cards to bewail the horrific killing, torture, rape of mothers; 3) bring the photos, stories, articles of mothers who have been killed by war, naming those mothers in Iraq and from the U.S.

Some mothers are willing to risk arrest, others are not.

Bring your mother! Come with your daughter!
