The hearing on network management of the Internet is a do-over of a February hearing at Harvard University where hundreds of seats were taken by folks hired by Comcast off the street to line up early. Many were later photographed snoozing through the hearing. The telecom position is that even though they've been caught interfering with Internet traffic numerous times, they should be trusted to police themselves in the public interest and not be burdened with onerous neutrality legislation. We think that after the hand is in the cookie jar many times, it may be time to put on a lid. Anyone who depends on the Internet for accurate information, connecting with like-minded folks, or promoting events and actions has a huge stake in a neutral Internet. Please send this info far and wide and let's pack this hearing!
The speaker practice workshops will be fun. Pick up some talking points, ask any questions, and role play your testimony. We'll have you in and out quickly and all ready to talk back to the FCC.
