Discussion Group for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Seniors
Topic for April: The WORK of Our Lives
Work is defined as the “exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something”. We will talk about what work you did or are still doing as a way to get to know more about each other. We will also talk about the meaning of work, the re-ordering of your world after a career, and what is the “work” of our lives after 60.
This new group for LGBT seniors meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. You can come once or each time. You don’t need to be a member or join anything. We have had a great turnout and hope you will join us! Facilitated by Nancy Flaxman.
Whether you are in the closet or out, partnered or single, outgoing or shy…we hope you will join us for the opportunity to get to know each other and build community.
Co-sponsored by the Castro Senior Center and openhouse.
Thank you to the SF Department of Aging and Adult Services for their support.
