War Criminal John McCain in San Francisco?!
McCain wants 100 years of war and torture. . .
Is that the future you want?
Protest this Wednesday
Say NO to John McCain and unending war!
What: John McCain returns to California for a finance reception
When: Wednesday, March 26th at 5 PM
Where: 600 Stockton St. at California St, San Francisco, CA
"I am a war criminal. I bombed innocent women and children."
-John McCain, in an interview with Mike Wallace on Sixty Minutes in 1997
"I hate the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live."
-John McCain, on his campaign bus - February, 2000
John McCain is proud of the war crimes he committed as a naval aviator bombardier during the Vietnam war. Between 1965 and 1973 The United States dropped 8 million tons of bombs on Vietnam. The U.S. also dropped chemical weapons such as napalm and white phosphorous (and also agent orange) on the Vietnamese population below. John McCain flew 23 bombing missions over North Vietnam before his plane was shot down while attempting to bomb a power plant in the center of Hanoi. There is nothing heroic about this.
“. . . a hundred years [of war] would be fine with me.”
-John McCain in New Hampshire recently
"Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran."
-John McCain sings at a town hall meeting in South Carolina, April 19, 2007
Not only is McCain a proud war criminal, he wants to do it all over again. . . for 100 more years! And although McCain was allegedly tortured after he was captured by the Vietnamese and is supposedly more “sensitive” to the plight of U.S. torture victims, he recently voted against a bill that would have banned the practice of waterboarding and supported Bush’s veto of the bill.
“It’s a good thing that [the CIA can use] enhanced interrogation techniques that are not revealed in your newspaper.”
-John McCain on why he supports Bush’s veto
