I invite you to join us to stand in unity.
On Wednesday, Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain will visit the Monterey Peninsula for a fundraiser.
A perfect opportunity for us to come together and let everyone in Monterey County know that we are all united in our opposition of a continuation of failed Bush policies under a new name.
What: Unity Rally for a Democratic Future
Where: In front of Colton Hall, Pacific Street, Monterey
When: Wednesday, March 26, noon
The fact is, Senator McCain offers more of the same failed economic policies George Bush has pushed for the last seven years. On trade, health care, jobs, Social Security privatization and tax giveaways for the rich, McCain and Bush are in lockstep.
And apparently it is ok with John McCain if the 5-year war in Iraq that has cost more than 4000 American lives (and tens of thousands of Iraqi lives) and made us less safe go on for a hundred years.
Well, it is not ok with us!
Join us during your lunch break to stand in unity for a historic change in leadership in Washington that throws the bums out and brings real change to real people!
