As part of our 20th anniversary season, please join the Middle East Children's Alliance for a special reception and poetry reading to release the stirring anthology, We Begin Here: Poems for Palestine & Lebanon, edited by Kamal Boullata and Kathy Engel.

Hors D'oevres & Wine Reception: 5:30-7pm, $50 (includes poetry reading and your own copy of the book as well)

Poetry Reading & Music: 7:30 - 9:30 pm, $15

Readers include Elmaz Abinader, Barbara Berman, Alexis De Veaux, Kathy Engel, Sam Hamod, Jack Hirschman (Poet Laureate of San Francisco, 2006), James Scully, and Deema Shehabi
