Berkeley: Urgent Action- 4000 soldiers dead

The 4000th US soldier was killed in Iraq on Sunday. Noon, TODAY, Monday, 3/24, join CodePINK outside the M.R.S. (Marine Recruiting Station,) 64 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley, to express our grief at so many senseless deaths of US soldiers and Iraqis. Bring white sheets and gauze, red paint. We will bloody hands and clothing. Bring photos of the dead. Or just BE THERE! We’ll wail, read the names of the dead, paste their photos up, and shut down the recruiting station as our way of saying “NO MORE DEATHS.”
