Stop the Closing of Buster’s Place
Friday, March 28, 11 AM
City Hall Steps

Buster's Place is slated to close April 1.

Buster's Place is the City's only around-the-clock place for homeless services, providing showers, bathrooms, a place to sit down, and referrals to housing and homeless services, for over 300 homeless people per day. It is particularly necessary for seniors, people with mental illness whose treatment has been cut by the City, and people turned away from shelters. The City's suggested stop-gap replacement wouldn't even serve women!

People's Budget opposes all the City's cuts to services to low-income and vulnerable residents, and demands more revenue from downtown business and the wealthy to fund these services.

For more information, call Jennifer Friedenbach at 415-346-3740.
