· Hear visions, strategies, and learnings from different regions
· Training in Bible/religion, cultural issues and resources, gender and sexuality, e.g. Understanding Asian Christian Conservative Voices, How Different API Cultures View Homosexuality, Transgender Travelogue, Queering the Bible, Let's Talk about Sex, Resources for Congregational Education, and more!!!
N.B. This retreat focuses on creating LGBT-affirming ministries within the cultural framework of API communities. It will not address how faith communities can become multicultural when LGBT concerns seem to be the wedge issue.
Registration fee (to defray cost of single occupancy room, board, and program)
Early Bird (by Mar 20) - $100; Regular (Mar 21-Apr 20) - $110

P.S. Because a major goal of this retreat is community building, we strongly encourage all participants to stay overnight. Please let us know if you will not be able to stay both nights, or if you will not be eating all meals at Mercy Center.
