this was the beginning of the noon die in. a procession went to all corners on the intersection and then went to the into the middle where people laid down.

this cat was blatantly dragged into the fray where the arrests were happening by a cop for no reason at all. he was trying to get out of the street at the time.
earlier in the day at the noon die in, i watched this veteran get arrested. later, she's at the march in a truck, draped in (i think) a U.S. flag upside down and a peace sign flag. other vets were there as well.

at one point in the later march, the cops tried keep us from going where we wanted. so we sat down in the street until they turned their dirt bikes away. i'd say about 50+ folks sat down together on mission street!
