All Age LGBT Community Meeting - Reach out to our Elders

The All Age LGBT Community meeting on February 28th at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center - reach out to our elders. openhouse and the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center (BHNC) are sponsoring this All Age LGBT Community Meeting to reach out to our elders. We are inviting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Bernal Heights residents and their families, friends, and allies to gather at the BHNC at 515 Courtland. We know that there are many LGBT senior residents on Bernal but we don’t know who and where we all are. We’d like our neighbors to meet one another and learn how we can reach out to LGBT seniors who live in Bernal Heights and are isolated. We will discuss how we can create community for all of the Bernal Heights residents. We intend our All Age Community Meeting to be a first step in creating a safe and rich community for all of us. Light refreshments will be served.
