Berkeley police out of control at the demonstration at city hall. Third report.
The Berkeley police were out of control at the protest at Berkeley City Hall. They punched people with baton, throw kids into the ground, and have attacked peaceful demonstrators. The World Cant Wait is calling on people who got beat up by the Berkeley Police (or by the pro-war protestors) to contact the World Cant Wait @ sf [at] worldcantwiat.org
Three high school kids were arrested by the Berkeley police. Talking to their friends they told me that some of the people at the pro-war side were harassing and assulting them. They fought back and were arrested by the Berkeley Police.
Although numerous reports and complains about violence coming from the pro-war demonstertors, no one on the pro-war side was arrested. If anyone witnessed the event, please contact the World Cant Wait SF chapter.

bet they couldnt wait t wear 'em. research howmanycrimes were committed in the rest of the city at the same time, good for law suits, check the police budget too.
Can't the photo be zoomed a little to read his name on his shirt? That's all the Police Review Commission needs--or anyone else the complaints about the cops' behavior goes to.
